Adam Chen-Adamov

Pianist and Composer

Born in 2004, Tel Aviv, Israel. 

Education

Bachelor’s degree Student of Prof. Asaf Zohar at the Buchmann-Mehta music academy, Tel-Aviv. 

2019-2022 was a member of the Outstanding Piano Program of the Jerusalem Music Centre.  Participated in the Goldman program, where he played in an ensemble led by Prof. Menachem Weisenberg, and in a trio led by Roi Shiloah

From the age of 8-15, he studied with Mr. Dror Semmel at the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv (Shtriker).

2019-2022 studied at the Givatayim Conservatory with Ms. Sara Tal. 

2009 Graduate of the Department of Classical Music at the Arison Arts Campus, Tel Aviv.

2022 graduated as a composer of the Classical Music Department at Thelma Yellin Art School.

Participated in the 2021 and 2022 International Master Classes Program in Tel-Hai, 

Played Master Classes with Murray Perahia, Arie Vardi, Victor Rosenbaum, Assaf Zohar, Craig Sheppard, Michal Tal, Norma Fischer, Markus Groh, Jerome Lowenthal, Ursula Oppens, Dmitri Novgorodsky, and others... In addition, he took personal classes with Ms. Ilana Vered.   

Significant Performances as a pianist:

23.4.21 live performance in Kol Hamusika radio station. Prelude & Fugue by Bach, ABEGG Variations by Schumann 

27.7.2022 Orchestra debut of Chopin’s Piano Concerto no. 1 in E minor op 11, I movement in Basilica di San Pietro, Perugia, Italy 

13.5.22 live performance in Kol Hamusika radio station. Bartok Sonata for 2 Pianos & Percussion. 

December 2021, a concert curated by Ilana Vered for Jaffa-Fest in Tel-Aviv. 

2020-2022 Plays piano in "Someone Like Me”, and ‘’Romeo & Juliet’’ theater productions at the Gesher Theater.

As a Composer

In March 2022 “Nocturne” for orchestra was performed by the Thelma Yellin orchestra in Zucker Hall in the Charles Bronfman Auditorium.

Composed the music for a production of Romeo and Juliet that premiered in 2022 at the Gesher Theater.

Works on an album based on texts by the Russian author – Daniil Kharms.
